WEEKEND 4: More Stripping but Tackled the Upper Hull Too

With the heat upon us in Orlando every weekend, my casual help was no where to be found.  But the project must go on!  Only working on my project on the weekends and doing most of the work by myself, it was a slow process.  I guess there is an "I" in TEAM after all...

(below) Here are some pictures after a little more work was performed on the large holes.  The grinding continues...  The action plan on fixing the V-Hole was to repair it from the inside out.  Later I actually cut the entire V out which you will see later.

(below) This crack in the hull does go all the way thru the side hull.  Our goal here is to fiberglass the outside crack after grinding a deep canal  and then doing the same from the inside when I can get access. Then from the inside I will followed by by laying 10' x 4' layers/sheets of fiberglass cloth over the repaired area's to bring back the integrity to add the required strength to the repaired areas.
  

(below) A little more prep work done on the Basket Ball hole. Still more needed...

(below) Some previous repairs were made to the railing.  Some grinding work was done to remove some of the previous filler used to repair this area.

More rail damage...

Time for a little rest and prepare for next weekends projects.
