WEEKEND 3: Stripping Bottom and Two Large Holes

The project was moving forward task by task.  Weekend 3 was hot.  97+ degrees is hot but we kept on stripping the bottom and decided to begin some prep work on the two major holes.







(below) Ok now for the starboard side.  Keep in mind a lot more work still had to be done to both these major holes before any repairs really could begin. You will see that in later pictures.


Note this hole was originally the size of a small basket ball.  However to get to solid fiberglass to repair it correctly, it became quite large.  This hole was nick-named the "basket ball hole" to keep the humor going...


The rudder wasn't in that bad of shape but needed attention.
